My Experience:

The Product comes in a sturdy tub, it’s travel friendly but not hygiene. The texture of the product creamy, it feels light and the consistency is very smooth. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t feel sticky or oily. The product has a herbal-ly smell, which isn’t over powering and doesn’t linger for too long.

On my skin the product absorbs quick and doesn’t feel sticky. It moisturizes my skin and nourishes it quite well. My skin is normal – combination, depending on the climate.

On my hair the product doesn’t feel sticky or weigh it down. It tames the fly-aways and feels good on the hair. I rub it in between my palms and then run my fingers on the bottom half of my hair. My hair is long thin and dry. [currently].

Overall I’d say this product works well. It is good for multitasking when travelling or to just keep things simple. I like that it is made of natural ingredients and does the job well.

Pros:

  • Moisturizing.
  • Multitasking.
  • Doesn’t weigh the hair.
  • Doesn’t feel sticky.
  • Nourishes.
  • Natural Ingredients.

Cons:

  • Packaging.

Rating: 4/5

Recommendation: If you are looking for a multitasking product for your skin and hair, which is natural and free of chemicals and parabens. Then you could give this a shot. It works well on both skin and hair and simplifies the routine.

L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti Imperfections + Whitening 20+ Cream Review

Price: 50g/325 RS.

Claims: L’Oreal Paris Age 20+ Skin Perfect Range comprises of a day cream along with cleansing foam. Combined with Perlite and Salicylic Acid it helps keep oiliness, pimples and blemishes at bay through your twenties while giving you that perfect clear skin glow

My Experience: The product comes in a sturdy yet breakable glass jar packaging. It is not hygienic/ Travel Friendly. The Texture of the product is creamy, it’s not runny or gel like. The cream has mild fruity scent , which doesn’t linger for too long and fades away. It gets absorbed easily into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy. It doesn’t leave any white cast behind. This cream didn’t clog my pores nor did it make my skin oily. It could be better in terms of hydration since during the colder months I felt the need of extra hydration. Hopefully this would be sufficient in spring/summer. I felt the need to blot after about  4-5 hours of wearing it in the day. The cream didn’t help me much with the breakouts I already had, but I did see decreased occurrence. It brightens the skin tone, I am yet to see a visible difference in marks/blemishes.  My skin seems to be liking this one.

Rating: 3.8/5

Recommendation: If you are looking for a cream which targets specific age group problems and works towards acne and even toned skin you should check this out. It absorbs easily, has UV filters, doesn’t clog pores. It requires blotting depending on your skin type. It could do better in terms of hydration.

PR sample though the review is honest.

Garnier Body Cocoon review

2  Product Claims:

DSC02289DSC02290

Ingredients:

DSC02291 Price: Rs- 185/ 250 ml.

 My Experience:

To start things off I get really lazy sometimes  most of the times when it comes to applying lotions and “stuff” on my body. If at all I apply them I like them being quick absorbing and moisturizing … Oh and has to smell good .. great actually.

Today I am reviewing Garnier Body Cocoon.  The Lotion comes in a sleek and sturdy orange bottle. It has a flip cap and is travel friendly. The lotion is quite runny as you can see from the swatch pic, it is liquid-y. It is not sticky and is easily absorbed in the skin and does the job of moisturizing quite well.  It takes less than a minute to get in, which saves me 1) time 2) time 😛  because I am very impatient when it comes to waiting for lotions to blend in 😐

The Lotion has a pleasant smell, nothing that would itch your senses to an extent that you would hate it nor  does it smell too good. Its just mild and clean.  The lotion is decently priced and is easily available.  The downside is the chemical pool, mineral pil, parabens.. so on.

DSC02296Pros:

  • Quick Absorbing.
  • Travel Friendly.
  • Flip Cap.
  • Attractive bottle.
  • Moisturizes Well.
  • Decently Priced.

Cons:

  • No Spf.
  • Parabens, Mineral oil..etc.

Rating: 3.5/5

Recommendation: If you are looking for a quick absorbing, affordable and travel friendly moisturizer then this can be your pick.  This does its job well, but needs to be re-applied.

Secrets to Celebrity Skin Revealed!

Heyyloo my beautiful friends! All of us want to achieve the “flawless skin” so, here is a lil information on how you can look the best you! A healthy skin is the best one independent of your color!

Happy Reading ^_^
Exfoliation: Its is way important than you actually think it is. Lack of proper exfoliation can lead to building up of dead skin and blockage. Which can stop the moisturizer from penetrating and actually moisturizing the skin, rather it just sits on the skin, doing nothing.
Tip: Don’t be harsh with your skin when moisturizing, be gentle and use light motions.

Toner:  , we often forget how important it is to use a toner before we use a moisturizer on our face. It’s the basic step to hydration and allows the moirturizing cream to penetrate skin better.
Tip: Use Alcohol free toners, go for hyaluronic acid or cucumber-based toners.

Battle Dehydrated Skin:   Hydration is the key to soft and supple skin. There are various causes for dehydrated skin. Some of the common causes are over exfoliation, sunburns/over exposure, cold, not removing makeup at night, fragrances, strong acids, over washing the skin, not moisturizing .. etc
Tips: Cure the dehydrated skin. Try at home remedies to bring your skin back to life!

Face Re-hydration Mask:
Banana – ½
Glycerin – 1 tsp.
Honey – 1 tsp
Oats – 2 tsp. Mix all the ingredients and leave for 10-20 mins, rinse with luke warm water.
Right Technique to Moisturize:  Look in the mirror while you moisturize, so you don’t miss any spots. Also, don’t forget your neck — it’s one of the first places to show the signs of aging!!
Tip:  Use slow and circular motions, don’t be harsh by rubbing or pulling on the skin.
Antioxidants: Antioxidants are a celeb favorite. “Antioxidants are man-made or natural substances that may prevent or delay some types of cell damage” Use creams/products with antioxidants. Also use them in your diet, eat foods rich in antioxidants.
Tip: Eat foods like Apples, Prunes, Red grapes, raisins, nuts, green tea .. etc

Glycolic Acid Peels:  This is a widely used chemical peel. Done by a professional, this helps is clearing marks and pigmentation. Over the counter 6-10% of the Glycolic Acid peel lotions are available. Although DO visit a dermatologist for further information about the chemical peels and donnot try this on your own.
Hope you enjoyed this post,

Review: Clean & Clear Oil free Moisturizer

Heyyllooo amazing people! How are you all doing? I’ve been tearing up these days :-//  Mood fluctuations have been taking their toll on me. This happens during/post winters!
Moving on!
Today I am reviewing the Clean & clear oil free moisturizer.

Product Claims & Key Ingredients:

Packaging:
The Moisturizer comes in a sturdy white tube/bottle. Its hygienic to use and is easy for dispensing the product for usage. Its not very transparent, But you can sort of see the amount of product left,if that makes sense.

My Experience:

I’ve love using this moisturizer! I have used it all up. Its easily absorbed, moisturizes really well, doesn’t sit idle on the skin making it sticky. Does the job well. It doesn’t cause excessive oilness/sweat. I used it before my make up for moisturizing and it didn’t effect my makeup, like cause it to slip or transfer. It made my skin look soft and supple. It is very easy and smooth to apply.

The claim of preventing blemishes is kinda too much to be true. Its does moisturize well, but no doesn’t really prevent blemishes.

Pros:

Moisturizes  Skin really well.
Doesn’t make skin oily.
Travel Friendly.
Doesn’t break out.
Very Affordable.
Suitable for all skin types.
