About: Banila Co marbling shadow (20 Titanic) is a multi-colored shadow. Gold-brown with a pearlescent shimmer, this shadow will be perfect for your party night!”

My Experience: The product comes in a sturdy round, black, matte packaging. This reminds me alot of the single MAC eye shadows. The texture is powdery and quite dry when used without any base. One needs to layer this eye shadow in order to get an opaque finish. It is quite shimmery, works excellent on the lids but not so good for highlighting, at least I don’t prefer it. The shimmer has the tendency to look a lil uneven and chunky. The shade is a pretty golden-brown and compliments all skin tones. The staying power could have been better it wears for 5-6 hours with a base on my lids. This can give beginners a hard time in terms of application. Overall I like this for cozy evenings and date nights looks effortlessly pretty.

Pros:

  • Pretty Packaging.
  • Compliments all skin tones.
  • Works great on lids.
  • Shimmery [ for those who prefer shimmer]

Cons:

  • Availability.
  • Application might be tricky for some [ Not very tough though]

Rating: 4/5

Recommendation: Titanic is a very pretty Gold- Brown shade, It compliments all skin tones. The staying power could have been better. The application can be a little uneven… TIP: I use my finger for applying it on my lid.. works out pretty well!

My Experience:

The eye shadows are packed in plastic tub/pot packaging. It is compact and travel friendly.  The only downside of a tub packaging is that it isn’t very hygienic , so make sure to clean your fingers before using the product or use a brush for application .

There are 6 shades available shades range from neutral shades to colorful indigo. The shades are very pretty and would fit in for everyday usage.

Rose Gold is a very pretty highlighter shade, this would look pretty swept all over the lid and also work great as a highlighter.  The pigmentation of this one is subtle. Golden Brown is well pigmented and is a pretty neutral for everyday usage. It is bronz-ish brown and has minute shimmer. The shimmer in this isn’t prominent and it works well for adding depth to the eyes. Olive Green is a rich olive green shade with a hint of golden shimmer, This eye shadow is not too loud and it is blends very well. Deep Indigo is an amazing deep blue/Indigo . It is very gorgeous and probably my first pick . This has alot of blue shimmer, it is ideal for parties, dates, night outs.  Intense Plum is  a dark plum shade and is wearable for a day/night look.

The texture of these eye shadows is amazing they are cream-powdery and are a dream to work with. They are easy to blend and work with and are opaque. Rose gold is weak in terms of pigmentation but is a lovely highlighter shade.

The staying power is around 5-6 hrs + . Which can be extended by applying an eye primer. These also work great as a base for powder eye shadow.

The price is higher if bought without sale, but oriflame usually has a lot of discounts on. These are available through their representatives.

Pros:

  • Compact packaging.
  • Plastic pot.
  • Travel Friendly.
  • The shades will suit many people.
  • Texture is great
  • Blends easily.
  • Decent Staying power.

Cons:

  • Availability.
  • Price [non-discounted]

Rating: 4.5/5

Recommendations: If you are looking for affordable good quality cream eye shadows you should take a look at these. These are easy to work with, the staying power is a decent 5-6 + hours which can be prolonged with a primer. These eye shadows can also be used as a base for eye makeup. Be sure to check them out during discounts / sales.

My Experience:

I’ve never owned a cover-girl product before, this is my first one, hence I was very excited to try this out. And I have mixed feelings about this one. I really like the shades in this quad except for the yellow one, though it works better wet. The sea green and cobalt blue are absolutely ahhmazing! I really love both of them.  The shades blue & green have good pay off and are easy to work with, they have a satin finish with minute shimmer with adds to the satin finish… Though the yellow and peach ones are not very pigmented. They don’t look tacky and are very wearable for summer and spring.  Its a 50-50 here, 2 shades are lovely and 2 are workable but not very a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

Pros:

Very Pretty shades.
Lovely Finish.
Easy to work with.
Blue and green shades have the best color pay off.
Comes with applicator.
Affordable.

Cons:
Not available in India.
The yellow and peach are not very well pigmented.
Discontinued, yet available online through amazon, drugstore etc
Parabens.

Ratings: 3.5/5

Recommendations: The Eye quad  has very pretty shades, it gives good finish and is easy to work with. The blue and green shades are very pretty, although the yellow and peach are a disappointment in terms of color pay off. Overall its a nice palette considering the price and when on the go.  I’d recommend this for the blue and green otherwise it can be a pass.

What’s your favorite eye quad on the shelves??
