Free Radicals: These are basically unstable oxygen molecules resulting from the harmful sun rays. Now thats too much of chemistry?? Consider free molecules as “robbers” These need energy to survive which they don’t produce hence, they rob it from the existing cells. It is considered that these free radicals might play an important role in skin cancer. Tobbaco and out pollutants may also cause free radicals..

While, early morning sun is important for producing Vitamin D, the noon hour sun or when the sun is at its shining at its peak… Avoid direct exposure. Protect yourself from the harmful UV rays. Also avoid using tanning salons too often they aren’t really your skin’s best friend.

Breaking out? Acne? You need to stop eating these!

Have you suffering from acne or unexplained breakouts?? I know I have. Recently my skin has been acting up and breaking out 😐 Which lead to me researching and finding out ways I could help my skin. Hope these pointers help you as well!

Breaking out? Acne? You need to stop eating these!
Breaking out? Acne? You need to stop eating these!

Salt: If you are someone who sprinkles extra salt to every meal you eat. you should stop, starting from now. Excess salt is not good for your body as it dehydrates your skin and also causes irritation to the already existing  break out. Don’t add that extra dash and let the breakouts rest in peace. Upto 11 grms / 2.4 grms of sodium is recommended from  age 11 and above.

Oily food / Junk Food:  Now you don’t have to eat all bland – boiled food, Just makes sure you don’t keep dive in a pool of oil i.e don’t eat junk all day long. Unhealthy food takes its toll on the body sooner or later. Mix up you diet Have healthy food and some treat here and there. Having alot of take away harms the body. Do you know you could be low on essentials vitamins and minerals on a junk diet? Yep. Have healthy meals mostly, and have treats to reward yourself .

Foods with high GI: Craving for that cupcake or that piece of cake? ?? Well, Here’s a news as much as that piece might feel amazing. Going over board or having too much of it will lead elevated sugar levels which is considered to be one of the causes for breakouts. There is a chemical explosion takes place where excess oil, skin cells are produced. Need an option? Have a healthy portion and do not over indulge , go for fruits or dry fruits they are filling sweet treats!

Dairy : If you are breaking out way too often check on your dairy intake. Especially, Chin, Jaw line and neck these are the places where those lil love bites pop. There might be various reasons as to why dairy might lead to  breakouts.. intolerance, hormones etc.. So when you see breakouts in these regions stop your dairy intake and have lots of water.

Alcohol: I assure you you won’t enjoy the look of dehydrated and rough skin. Alcohol dehydrates the skin and highlights your wrinkles / fine lines/ redness / and causes irritation. Yep. Which is why you should keep away from it.  When ever the craving set in, grab a glass of wine no more than that and you should be good to dream 😛

That’s all for now, hope this helps until next time…..

Schwarzkopf Professional Q10 Plus BC Bonacure Time Restore Rejuvenating Spray Review

Hola! Pretty People! Today I bring on the plate Schwarzkopf Professional Q10 Plus BC Bonacure Time Restore Rejuvenating Spray Review  for those who don’t know what this is about keep readiiing! 😀

Schwarzkopf Professional Q10 Plus BC Bonacure Time Restore Rejuvenating Spray Review
Schwarzkopf Professional Q10 Plus BC Bonacure Time Restore Rejuvenating Spray Review

Product Description:

For: Mature, fine to normal hair that has lost vitality, body and bounce over time.

BC Time Restore Satin Spray detangles fine, mature and fragile hair and recharges it with significantly more strength to fight the signs of ageing.

Result:

– BC Time Restore Q10 Plus, now with a higher concentration of co-enzyme Q10, stimulates hair roots to activate production of two keratins that subside over time.

– Amino Cell Rebuild strengthens the architecture inside the hair cell. For fuller, stronger and manageable hair full of timeless beauty and satin-like shine.

Directions for use: Spray into pre-shampooed towel-dried hair. Do not rinse.

Price: RS. 750

My Experience:

The spray comes in a sturdy spray bottle, It is secured with  a plastic cap. It didn’t leak while I traveled, although it feels bulky to be traveled around with.  A little background of my hair type, I have thin- long hair which tends to be dry. Hence  I avoid using products which weigh it down *hate them* I came across this spray in july and have been trying it out regularly ever since. I use it mostly to liven up my hair when it feels fried [dry :P] I usually spray it all over my hair and then kind of massage it in, let is stay for  30 seconds or so and then comb though. I love the way it de-tangles my hair. It  makes my hair softer and more manageable.  It smells decent, Its not over powering though it at times is not the best. As of making it stronger I don’t really think there has been much difference, it doesn’t weigh my hair down or feel sticky.

Pros:

De tangles Hair.

Makes hair more manageable.

Doesn’t weigh hair down.

Doesn’t make it sticky.

The scent is not overpowering.

Cons:

No much difference in strengtening

Pricey.

Rating: 3.8/5.

Recommendation: If you are looking for a de tangler or a product which makes hair manageable without weighing it down or feeling sticking give this a shot. There isn’t much difference in the overall strength or health. I’d say you can try this as a de tangler.

Manicure & Pedicure.

I really Enjoyed their Manicure and Pedicure. Like I said, they have a personalized area for manicure and pedicure. Which makes it very relaxing and peaceful. Its truly worth it, with all the soft music going on in the background, perfect temperature, the massage, the wrap its all too good to be missed! I really liked how they take time to get the job done.  All over this service gets an A

Facial:

I got the Dermalogica Facial done, and OH MY this was a heck of a facial. It started out with their expert analysing my skin, she told when my skin was damaged, what skin type I had.. etc. Then she  started the facial by cleansing my skin, then gently exfoliating, applying a treatment to suit my skin’s needs, then a mask and closed with moisturizing and sealing it.  I absolutely loved the facial, the lady was very kind and gentle, she did her job well. A+ to this one. You should try their dermalogica facial for sure.

Hair Spa:

I tried the L’Oreal Mythic Oil Spa, which was very much needed to bring life back to my dead locks. The spa was rejuvenating and moisturizing, They shampooed my hair after which they applied the hair mask, and then used to steam to help the goodness of mythic oil work through my hair. Then they massaged  my head and neck to relieve the stress. After which the mask was rinsed out followed by  a blow dry. This service gets an A.

Recommendation :

I really liked and enjoyed their services, The place is very hygienic and peaceful. I like how they’ve used the space, making rooms for private/ personal sessions. The facial is a must try and highly recommended. I really liked the manicure and pedicure, the nail art has lasted for over 3 weeks now with out chipping.

I loved …

That it was very Hygienic and well maintained.

Personal space for manicure and pedicure.

Friendly and Professional Staff.

Heyy guys! Today I am sharing my latest spa experience with you all, I present to you The Four Fountain Spa Review.  Before I begin grab some tea, dim the lights and read on ..

Moving on..

The Four Fountain Spa Review
The Four Fountain Spa Review

The Four Fountain Spa is located in  south ex. It is very easy to find and is the middle of the market, surrounded by alot of food joints 😛  .Just saying.  For me hygiene, staff, lighting, cleanliness.. over all ambiance plays an important role  and I sure must say I was not disappointed by the four fountain spa. The spa has a Zen theme to it, Buddha, small running water fountain, wooden articrafts, candles, flowers adorn the spa. The lights are dim and soothing.  I was accompanied by the lovely Apurva, from kalapalette, We had a relaxed weekend for sure.

I  vlogged that day! ^_^

The Four Fountain Spa Review
The Four Fountain Spa Review

I opted for the Lady Sojourn Classic – It has an Aromatherapy massage (relaxing), Coffee Sugarcane scrub and a skin type facial.

First and foremost I was given disposable clothes given to change into, they were new and quite easy to get into. The spa room I was directed to was neat and clean. My masseuse [massage therapist ^_^] was kind, and sweet she made me feel very comfortable. She made sure I was fine with the room temperature, music if it was loud / too soft. I was asked to relax on the massage table, first she cleaned my feet with warm towel and then began the massage. The massage was relaxing and just what I needed to break free from all the stress. She used a blend of oils which included wheat germ, lavender and olive oil. After which she used a coffee and sugar scrub to remove  the oil, dead skin, and refresh the skin! . I was covered with a towel during the whole session except for the part she was massaging, thankfully making it very comfortable. So, if you are shy or new to a spa this should lessen your fears.

Then I was asked to take a shower and was provided with towel and disposable clothes to change into.  The washroom was clean and I was also provided with slippers. They had a shampoo and shower gel dispenser ^_^ And the water had a warm/cool setting as well… I was certainly thankful for that 😛 I am secretly a cat I hate HATE cold water 😐  Not sure if the cats do though…… -looooooong pause-

After this I was given a facial, and tada all done! I got ready to face the world radiating and clllllean! 😛 It lasted for about 2-2 1/2  hours. Oh also they provide  a sanitizer, lotion, comb, a hair dryer if requested and a locker to lock your worries away 😉 Once I was done, they offered me green tea to finish off the session. They also gave me a small tub of de-stressing gel for any tension/stress I might have.

They also have a doctor who checks in to make sure of your medical history and accordingly suggests massages which would best suit an individual. So, if you are new to massages and spas, this could be your bet!

Overall: As a beginner I really enjoyed the service, I’ve never tried a full body massage before and this certainly helped banish my apprehensions. It was relaxing and refreshing also the therapist was polite and receptive, the ambiance was clean and warm.  It’d really like to try out a few more of their services! Recommended!
