My Experience:

The Product comes in a sturdy tub, it’s travel friendly but not hygiene. The texture of the product creamy, it feels light and the consistency is very smooth. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t feel sticky or oily. The product has a herbal-ly smell, which isn’t over powering and doesn’t linger for too long.

On my skin the product absorbs quick and doesn’t feel sticky. It moisturizes my skin and nourishes it quite well. My skin is normal – combination, depending on the climate.

On my hair the product doesn’t feel sticky or weigh it down. It tames the fly-aways and feels good on the hair. I rub it in between my palms and then run my fingers on the bottom half of my hair. My hair is long thin and dry. [currently].

Overall I’d say this product works well. It is good for multitasking when travelling or to just keep things simple. I like that it is made of natural ingredients and does the job well.

Pros:

  • Moisturizing.
  • Multitasking.
  • Doesn’t weigh the hair.
  • Doesn’t feel sticky.
  • Nourishes.
  • Natural Ingredients.

Cons:

  • Packaging.

Rating: 4/5

Recommendation: If you are looking for a multitasking product for your skin and hair, which is natural and free of chemicals and parabens. Then you could give this a shot. It works well on both skin and hair and simplifies the routine.

High, glossy reflections: specifically designed to enhance the shine of Wella Professionals Colour, making it up to 86% more reflective. Wella Professionals Oil Reflections can be used in a number of different ways:

Wella Oil Reflections Review

My Experience:

The Wella Oil Reflections  comes in a glass bottle it looks pretty yet, it is not travel friendly. At the moment my hair is dry and  frizzy , my hair is naturally  thin and wavy. I use this after my shower when my hair is damp or on dry hair when I want it to look presentable. It works well for smoothening out frizz and makes them soft and manageable. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, which has been my concern with a lot of serums/oils that don’t work for thin hair. It smells really nice, I quite like it. It makes my hair smell really nice but doesn’t last long .. it fades away within minutes of application. The consistency of the Oil is thin and liquid-y. It applies really well and absorbs quickly. Although I’d say don’t over do the product, you need 1-2 pumps generally depending on your hair. Thicker/ longer hair would need more. I apply this to my lower half of the hair, avoiding the scalp region.

Rating: 4.5/5

Pros:

  • Makes hair manageable
  • Smells nice.
  • Spreads evenly on hair.
  • Absorbs quick.
  • Adds shine to hair.
  • Affordable.

Cons:

  • Not Travel Friendly.

Recommendation: If you are looking for a light weight nourishing oil/serum this might work for you, it makes hair manageable, tames frizz, adds shine and smells nice! It also has goodness of various oils like coconut/ avacado / macadamia etc. This works on my dry – thin hair. Highly Recommended!

The Four Fountain Spa Review

Heyy guys! Today I am sharing my latest spa experience with you all, I present to you The Four Fountain Spa Review.  Before I begin grab some tea, dim the lights and read on ..

*The first two steps are optional 😛

Moving on..

The Four Fountain Spa Review
The Four Fountain Spa Review

The Four Fountain Spa is located in  south ex. It is very easy to find and is the middle of the market, surrounded by alot of food joints 😛  .Just saying.  For me hygiene, staff, lighting, cleanliness.. over all ambiance plays an important role  and I sure must say I was not disappointed by the four fountain spa. The spa has a Zen theme to it, Buddha, small running water fountain, wooden articrafts, candles, flowers adorn the spa. The lights are dim and soothing.  I was accompanied by the lovely Apurva, from kalapalette, We had a relaxed weekend for sure.

I  vlogged that day! ^_^

The Four Fountain Spa Review
The Four Fountain Spa Review

I opted for the Lady Sojourn Classic – It has an Aromatherapy massage (relaxing), Coffee Sugarcane scrub and a skin type facial.

First and foremost I was given disposable clothes given to change into, they were new and quite easy to get into. The spa room I was directed to was neat and clean. My masseuse [massage therapist ^_^] was kind, and sweet she made me feel very comfortable. She made sure I was fine with the room temperature, music if it was loud / too soft. I was asked to relax on the massage table, first she cleaned my feet with warm towel and then began the massage. The massage was relaxing and just what I needed to break free from all the stress. She used a blend of oils which included wheat germ, lavender and olive oil. After which she used a coffee and sugar scrub to remove  the oil, dead skin, and refresh the skin! . I was covered with a towel during the whole session except for the part she was massaging, thankfully making it very comfortable. So, if you are shy or new to a spa this should lessen your fears.

Then I was asked to take a shower and was provided with towel and disposable clothes to change into.  The washroom was clean and I was also provided with slippers. They had a shampoo and shower gel dispenser ^_^ And the water had a warm/cool setting as well… I was certainly thankful for that 😛 I am secretly a cat I hate HATE cold water 😐  Not sure if the cats do though…… -looooooong pause-

After this I was given a facial, and tada all done! I got ready to face the world radiating and clllllean! 😛 It lasted for about 2-2 1/2  hours. Oh also they provide  a sanitizer, lotion, comb, a hair dryer if requested and a locker to lock your worries away 😉 Once I was done, they offered me green tea to finish off the session. They also gave me a small tub of de-stressing gel for any tension/stress I might have.

They also have a doctor who checks in to make sure of your medical history and accordingly suggests massages which would best suit an individual. So, if you are new to massages and spas, this could be your bet!

Overall: As a beginner I really enjoyed the service, I’ve never tried a full body massage before and this certainly helped banish my apprehensions. It was relaxing and refreshing also the therapist was polite and receptive, the ambiance was clean and warm.  It’d really like to try out a few more of their services! Recommended!

Rating: 4.2/5

Loreal Total Repair 5 Hair Mask Review
Loreal Total Repair 5 Hair Mask Review

My Experience:

The Product comes in a tub packaging, it is sturdy although might be bulky to be carried around. It is thick in consistency and can be easily applied on the hair. I like to apply this on my hair for a good 2 mins [I’ve forgotten this for a good 15 mins, Tip: Don’t do that 😐 Big mistake].  Below I am listing all the good stuff this did and all the cons I did have.

Pros:

It made my hair soft and manageable.

Noticeably less frizzy hair.

The hair looks shiny and healthy.

Smells good, although fades away after a day.

The consistency is creamy, hence can be applied without making a mess.

Small amount of product is enough for one use.

Cons:

Tub packaging, not hygienic also can easy spill.

By no means leave this longer. It makes the hair look greasy and weighs it .

Rating: 4.7/5

Recommendation: If you are looking  for a hair mask which can tame your frizz, add some shine and make your hair look more put together and healthy go for this. It is easily available and pretty affordable. This should last for a good amount of time, deoending on your hair length. Although do not leave this on for longer period of time. Highly Recommended!
