Anokha Skin Care Review, Range, Buy
Lately I’ve been trying natural things for my skin. I’ve been inclined to reach for natural, cruelty free products. So, it comes as no surprise that I was very excited when I came across Anokha Skin Care. Read more here.
My Experience: All the products come packed in sturdy packaging. They are not very travel friendly considering they are bulky to fit in. The products absorb really well and quick in the skin.
Black Tea & Licorice Root Brightening Cleanser($32): The cleanser is creamy in texture and spreads easily. It doesn’t lather hence I apply it on my skin and gently massage it. Then after about a minute it clean it with luke warm water. It is effective in removing dirt and Traces of makeup. It leaves my skin feeling nourished and moisturized.
Amla Skin Brightening Lotion($65): This lotion absorbs right in and makes my skin look plump and radiant. It is light weight and doesn’t feel greasy/ Heavy on the skin. It does have a peculiar amla kind of scent which is a lil turn off at times. But thankfully the scent doesn’t linger for too long. I’ve also worn this underneath my makeup and it didn’t effect the makeup wear time. However the ‘skin brightening’ results didn’t last very long. Probably a prolonged use would help see a major difference.
Jasmine Serum($25): The consistency of this serum is quite runny and light. It absorbs very quickly in to the skin and spreads easily. It has a very pleasant jasmine scent. Not ideal for those who despise Jasmine/ floral scents. However it is soothing on the skin and helps moisturize my skin. This product is suitable for all skin types.
Overall, All the products from Anokha, indeed are very unique. Dr. Naidu has created nautral products which are worth a try. I enjoyed the Black Tea & Licorice Root Brightening Cleanser and Amla Skin Brightening Lotion alot. A big thumbs up!
